Small dog owners in Toronto and the GTA know how difficult it is to find appropriate services for your dog.

Here are some classic examples...have you had these problems??

1: "I Can't find a suitable dog training class!"
While there are skilled dog training instructors in Toronto, many of their classes are filled with large breed puppies - very dangerous for your small breed dog! And the methods used in some of these classes just aren't effective when training small breed dogs.

2: "I can't find a good dog boarding place!"
For small dog owners like you, your dog is your family, your "fur-kid", your baby...don't you agree? Boarding your precious pup when you must go out of town is an excruciating decision....you want and expect special care for your baby. But most people who offer dog boarding are BIG DOG OWNERS...They just don't know how important it is to sleep with the dog in the same bed, and be around the dog all the time. They don't notice how stressed your dog gets when he/she is not with their parents!!

3: "I can't find a good dog daycare!"
Unfotunately, at most commercial dog daycares in Toronto, small dogs get the short end of the stick! Instead of being allowed to roam around the huge industrial building like the other dogs, most dog daycares put small dogs in a special "Small Dog/Puppy" room. It's just not fair! Why should small dogs have to suffer because of their size? Why should a 5 year old Chihuahua puppy be forced to put up with the annoying behaviors of puppies just because of his size? In this room, 25lb dogs and 5lb dogs are put together - are they both considered small? It's too late when the Chihuahua is stepped on and injured!!

In the dog training classes, trainers often say the best way to socialize your dog is to go to a doggy daycare. But when there is vertually NO dog daycare in Toronto which cater to only small breed dogs,
Which daycare can your dog go? Actually, for dog training purposes, it is really a good idea for your dog to go to a dog daycare but in reallity, where can you really go?!!

Actually, these are the problem I had as a small dog owner...I couldn't find any good daycare in Toronto for my small Jasper (Shitsu) to go, a good training class for Milo and Miss Moo(Chihuahuas), and a dog bording place all of them can go when I have to leave my city (Toronto) for a while...

YES, that's why I made a special place for REALLY small dogs only!!

PRIVATE DOG TRAINING:

"One-on-one obedience training for you" (and your dog, too!）

It has been said that small dogs are difficult, sometimes impossible to train. If you think that's true, then you have just found your perfect trainer! It is true that a large number of small dogs have different temperament issues than medium-large dogs. Training a small dog requires positive techniques, patience and a knowledgeable trainer skilled at small dog training techniques

SOCIALIZATION:

“Play-Training”

Socializing your dog is one of the most important aspects of training. Socialization is even MORE important if you own a small dog! Socializing your dog at a regular dog daycare is not always safe for small dogs. Starting at $7 per hour, we provide professionally supervised play sessions in our facility specifically designed to socialize small dogs.

OVERNIGHT DOG BOARDING:

"The ultimate in care."

Unlike other home dog boarding services where your doggie sleeps alone or in a room with lots of other boarding dogs, we offer the highest level of care available. Your dog is welcome to sleep in our room on our bed. There will always be room on the bed because we only accept a small number of doggie guests per night. Daily leashed walks, home-made fresh dog food at no extra charge, access to our fully-fenced safe backyard and only small dogs under 20 lbs to play with. We only accept 1 or 2 dogs a night!

SMALL DOG DAYCARE:

"Play for the whole day!"

 

You can also use our socialization sessions as “dog daycare” during our business hours (Wednesday - Sunday). Your dog will benefit from even more supervised positive socialization experience while you’re busy at work or running errands.
