We offer the highest level of overnight boarding in Toronto ? only for small dogs, of course!
Let's face it - our small dogs lead pretty pampered lives. Nothing but the best! When we have to leave them with a caregiver, we hope they will receive the same love and attention as they do at home.

Many home boarding professionals say they will "treat your dog just like our own". But what does this MEAN? Does the caregiver actually own a small dog? Will my dog have to sleep on the floor or in a crate? Will they know my dog shouldn't jump off the couch because she might get hurt?
Our overnight boarding service is your answer! Nadia owns 3 small dogs of her own, which means that her home and her life are completely "small-dog friendly"!

Nadia and baby Jasper.
Our special guests enjoy the luxury of playing in the daycare during the day and lounging in our cozy, warm house at night. Not only that, overnight guests always have the opportunity to sleep in the same room and share the bed with Nadia. Your precious dog will never sleep unattended. A small dog's idea of bliss!
Q: My dog is used to sleeping in bed with me. Where will my dog sleep?
A: Your dog will sleep with Nadia, of course! Since we only board 1 or 2 dogs per night, Nadia will sleep with your dog - wherever your dog wants to sleep!

Previous doggie guests have enjoyed sleeping in the master bedroom on our bed! (We have a king-sized bed, to accommodate our furry guests). Others have preferred the living room, so everyone (including Nadia) "camp out" on our living room futon. Your dog's comfort is very important to us!

Q: What will my dog do during the day?
A: We try to follow your dog’s normal schedule as much as possible. Most small dogs are not used to playing with other dogs for 8 or 10 hours everyday! Instead, we incorporate doggie playtime with lots of doggie downtime (ie. relaxing in our living room with the television on, just like at home!).
Weather permitting, we usually start the day by going for a leashed walk around the neighborhood (never off leash).

Breakfast with fresh water when we return. Time to go outside and play!
If daycare dogs are here for play, we usually play in the daycare from about 9am until 12 noon. Then it's time for a long nap and maybe a stuffed Kong!

After dinner, we relax on the couch and most dogs have a snooze. We go out for our last potty around 10pm before going to sleep.
Q: How many dogs do you board per night?
A: To ensure your dog receives just the right amount of cuddles and "couch time" with me, I only board approximately 1 or 2 dogs per night (usually, though, it’s just 1!). All dogs that have spent the night here have left happy ? so happy that their parents are quite surprised when they come to pick them up!

Q: My dog uses pee pads. Is this ok?
A: Unlike other dog-boarding professionals, I truly understand the needs of small dogs. Because of this, pee-pad trained dogs are welcomed here! Your dog can use pee pads, go outside to potty or both!
Q: What will my dog eat?
A: Many dogs have difficulty eating in unfamiliar surroundings, so learning about your dog’s regular eating habits is important to us.
You can bring your dog's regular food. As well, our cook serves fresh homemade dog food free of charge (a veterinarian recommended recipe of ground chicken or turkey, rice and pureed veggies). We would be happy to treat your dog to our homemade food or mix it on top of their regular food (or not at all! The choice is yours!)

An important question to ask a potential dog-boarding professional is: “Will you be leaving the house during my dog's stay? Will you be leaving the house at all?"

The answer should be “no”. While boarding in my home, your dog will never be left home alone (my groceries can wait!).
What To Bring:
We have a multitude of the following items for your dog to use while he/she stays with us:
However, you are welcome to bring your own, if you prefer!
