Small dog owners in Toronto and the GTA know how difficult it is to find appropriate services for your dog.

Here are some classic examples...have you had these problems??

1: "I can't find a suitable dog training class!"
While there are skilled dog training instructors in Toronto, many of their classes are filled with large breed puppies - very dangerous for your small breed dog! And the methods used in some of these classes just aren't effective when training small breed dogs.

2: "I need to "socialize" my dog - but where can I go that's safe?"
Every dog needs to play with other dogs off leash. When you own a small dog, going to a dog park can be a very dangerous experience! Even parks that DO have a small section, dogs up to 25 lbs can play. Many 25 lb dogs are WAY too big to play with toy breeds!!

3: "My dog is scared of the groomer!"
Grooming a small dog is no easy task. I always wanted to find a groomer that only took small dogs because then my Chihuahuas would be more comfortable (they don't like big dogs). My Chihuahuas don't need much grooming: pawdicure (nails), shampoo and blow dry. I've always wanted to drop them off at a groomer in the morning and pick them up in the afternoon - and know that they were NOT scared and enjoyed their pampering.....

Actually, these are the problems I had as a small dog owner...I couldn't find any good dog parks in Toronto for my small Jasper (Shitsu), a good training class for Milo and Miss Moo(Chihuahuas), and a safe, quiet groomer.

PRIVATE DOG TRAINING:

"One-on-one obedience training for you" (and your dog, too!）

It has been said that small dogs are difficult, sometimes impossible to train. If you think that's true, then you have just found your perfect trainer! It is true that a large number of small dogs have different temperament issues than medium-large dogs. Training a small dog requires positive techniques, patience and a knowledgeable trainer skilled at small dog training techniques

SOCIALIZATION:

“Play-Training”

Socializing your dog is one of the most important aspects of training. Socialization is even MORE important if you own a small dog! Socializing your dog at a regular dog daycare is not always safe for small dogs.

GROOMING:

"One dog at a time"

Since I only groom one dog at a time in my home, your dog will be less stressed. Using behaviour modification techniques, I will groom your dog at HIS own pace. It might take a little longer, but I am comitted to making this grooming experience positive for your dog!
